This is done to provide added security and prevent fraud. We ask for the billing address of your card and verify its authenticity. This makes a stolen card or number worthless to a thief who doesn't know your billing address. The Card Verification Value (3-digit code) requested on the second page of the Cybersource form is not required at the present time but will be implemented by all the major credit card companies in the near future. One way is to note the status of the security icon provided by your browser.
